Configuring SDH/SONET E1 ports
You must configure the E1 ports with the appropriate frame type as specified in
Table
7-6
. You must configure the following E1 ports:
For RICi-4E1/T1: E1 ports 41 – 44, unframed
For RICi-E1/T1: E1 port 45, unframed
For MiRICi-E1/T1: E1 port 46, framed (CRC 4 enabled)
The E1 port configuration is done in the SDH/SONET Physical Port E1 menu
(Main Menu>Configuration>Physical Layer > SDH/SONET).
