5-2 Adding Cross Connections



To add a LAN VCL cross connection:

1. In the Navigator, double-click the Connections container to display the LAN

VC Connection.

2. Select the LAN VC Connections container, right-click and select

Add Component > Cross Connection > Add LAN VCL.

3. Fill in the fields, as described in Table 5-1.

4. Click <Save> to save the changes.

Traffic

Descriptor

Identifies the row in the Traffic Descriptor (TD) Table which applies to the transmit

direction of the VCL.

Check

The VCC admin status.

Off Two Way (down), On Two Way (up), On-source, On-sink

CES VC Connection



To add a CES VC cross connection:

1. Verify bundles are associated with timeslots (see the section, "Bundles

Configuration" (for CES E1 ports) in the "Port Configuration and Monitoring"

chapter.)
