Protocols

For packet-oriented interfaces, the number of packets received via the interface which

was discarded because of an unknown or unsupported protocol. For character-oriented

or fixed-length interfaces that support protocol multiplexing the number of transmission

units received via the interface which were discarded because of an unknown or

unsupported protocol. For any interface that does not support protocol multiplexing, this

counter will always be zero.

VCL Statistics



To view VCL statistics of the SHDSL port:

• In the LA-110 Node Draw, select the SHDSL port, right-click and select

Monitor > ATM Layer > VCL Statistics..

A Monitor form appears, displaying the VCL statistics results as shown in

Figure 4-48 and as listed in Table 4-38.
