Installation and Operation Manual Chapter 1 Introduction
ASM-40 Ver. 1.0 Technical Specifications 1-7
Receiver
An AGC end equalizer provides the received signal for the clock and data recovery
circuitry.
NRZ Interface
The digital side provides an interface choice of V.35, X.21, RS-232, RS-530, V.36
(via adapter cable), Ethernet/Fast Ethernet bridge, or IP router.
ASM-40 can be ordered with G.703-HDB3 on the digital side, for data rates 2048,
1024, 512, 256, or 128 kbps. This enables operation as a baud rate converter or
repeater for G.703. In addition, ASM-40 supports G.703 Codirectional interface
operating at 64 kbps.
